Google's unique feedback loop.

Google doesn't want you to stay on its page for too long.

Google wants you to get off it.

To get off from it. You can click on two different types of links.

One is an ad link that has been pushed to the top.

The second one is the general one.

And in both cases, Google wins.

Clicking on its ad link is simple. Google gets paid.

But when you click on other links. Google is recording that link. And that tiny bit of information when gets multiplied over 3.5 billion searches per day. You get data on which link is performing better. And which website is more useful.

Hence making google more valuable for everyone else.

People more likely to go to google.

Hence more people clicking on their ads.

I love that feedback loop.
